Chippy’s performance can be comprised of a wide variety of activities.  Below is information on some of her most popular activities.  Please contact Chippy directly if you’d like more information on any of these activities. 

Chippy’s Comedy magic show is a mixture of magic, stunts, and skits designed to entertain, amuse, and teach.  Sometimes with the aid of her puppet friends, Chippy, acts out stories and performs tricks in a silly-goofy-funny way that gets laughter from children and adults alike. 

Audience participation is a big part of the show and keeps the children involved and interested.  By using techniques that allow the children to be spontaneous and react instinctively, their sense of fun is released through comedic drama.  Chippy’s "Sydney the Fish" skit helps teach children not to go with strangers in an amusing and non-threatening way.

Whether it is an amazing and crazy hat, a puppy love heart, pooh bear, or one of the many other balloon sculptures Chippy twists, they’re sure to delight. 

Chippy finds it incredibly rewarding when a young child’s eyes light up after being handed a balloon sculpture made just for them.  Children often treat the balloons like a treasured possession, allowing them to relive the excitement of the event for days to come.  Naturally, most little ones just can’t wait for a balloon sculpture to be made just for them, so the longer the line, the less time Chippy has to spend on each design. 

Chippy’s not Wonder Woman, she just doesn’t have the lungs to blow up all the balloons herself.  So she always brings along her trusty air pump.  But of course, she is a clown...  So they’ll always be plenty of laughs and giggles to go around while Chippy’s twisting away! 

Chippy LOVES making balloon art.  She wants to make every child happy, but she also wants to keep every child safe.  That's why when Chippy twists balloons, she insists that children are supervised by an adult, other than Chippy (because she’ll be busy entertaining, you know), to make sure that balloons are not put into mouths, and to insure that pieces of any balloons that may break are properly disposed of.  Chippy the Clown says "Be Happy, Have Fun, But Be Safe !!"

Silly songs is an upbeat rendition of a collection of popular group songs designed to give the kids a way to release all that extra excitement and energy that parties generate. 

Chippy, accompanied by her boom box, leads everybody in spirited renditions of old favorites like "When You’re Happy And You Know It" and the "Hokey Pokey" as well as songs like "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" and "Tony Chestnut".  Her "Hokey Pokey" isn’t just sticking your right hand in and shakin’ it, Chippy draws on her past experience as a personal trainer to get everybody up and dancing, twirling, and hopping all about. 

Of course, having performed in hospitals and nursing homes, Chippy always keeps in mind the abilities of her audience and tailors this activity to those abilities to insure that everyone has a good time. 

Face Painting adds to the festive atmosphere of any event.  Selecting their special design allows kids imagination to flow.  Will they pick to be an animal like a butterfly, a puppy, or a bunny... or will they choose to be a superhero like Batman or Spiderman?  Maybe a princess or even a clown just like Chippy!!  Kids love to show off the colorful patterns and designs that they’ve chosen. 

It might be called Face Painting, but its not limited to just faces.  Chippy the Clown has a whole collection of tattoos like Blue from Blue's Clues, that she can paint on arms, legs, ankles, or the back of a hand.  No worries about the paint either, Chippy only uses Paradise Makeup and Snazaroo products.  In addition to being FDA approved, they are safe and gentle to the skin and wash off with soap and water. 

Chippy does more than just set routines.  She has performed at malls, grand-openings, festivals, and other events where her role is simply to walk around, acting in a happy and silly manner, performing little tricks and creating a festive atmosphere.  Her portable air pump is perfect for mingling with the guests and dispensing balloon sculptures along with a heavy dose of warm-hearted humor.
